| On Course Fore a Cure is the premiere fundraising event for The Cure Starts Now Foundation in the Hampton Roads Area. Funds raised at this event will help to fund pediatric brain cancer research in memory of Morgan Pritchett. Morgan was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor called DIPG in October 2007 at the age of 5. After a courageous, 20 month battle, she went to her heavenly home on June 30, 2009. Morgan loved arts and crafts, singing and dancing, dressing up like a princess and planning parties. Her perseverance and determination throughout her illness were an inspiration to many people whose lives she touched forever. Read more about Morgan and her story at: www.caringbridge.org/visit/ladybug. THANK YOU! Your support will improve kids chances and help keep doctors and researchers on course for a cure! All proceeds of this event will benefit The Cure Starts Now (CSN). CSN was started by Brooke and Keith Desserich after the loss of their daughter to brain cancer. Thanks to their efforts and the efforts of many companies and volunteers around the nation, CSN provides funding for new experimental treatment protocols and research at top pediatric brain cancer centers like Cincinnati Children's Hospital and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
